About Pawtient AI
The chronic-care companion that started with two cats and a spreadsheet.
Why does Pawtient AI exist?
Pawtient AI started with two real CKD-cat stories: one cat the vet gave a week to live who lived another six months, one cat with hyperthyroidism plus anemia who outlived three prognoses thanks to the founder's persistence with Cornell research. Both stories shared a pattern: the owner had to learn the vocabulary, build the spreadsheet, ask the right questions, and become their own pet's chronic-care project manager. Pawtient AI is what those spreadsheets would have looked like if they'd been built into an app.
Who is Pawtient AI for?
Pet parents in the middle of a chronic-care journey: CKD, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, heart conditions, cancer, IBD, FIP, EPI. The cohort that's already learning IRIS staging, glucose curves, and ALT trends because they have to. Pawtient AI compresses 6 months of self-taught vet vocabulary into a few minutes per appointment.
What's the design principle?
AI assistant and second opinion, never diagnosis. Pawtient AI helps you understand what your vet is telling you, prepare for the next appointment, track adherence, and catch trends early, but the clinical decisions stay with a licensed veterinarian. This is a hard, non-negotiable constraint of the product.
Clinical sourcing
Every clinical page cites its primary sources directly.
